Huawei Ascend P6 In Australia: $499, But Not 4G (Or Pink)

We’ve known about Huawei’s ultra-thin Ascend P6 since its launch back in June, and now it has an Australian release date. If thin Android is your thing, you’ll be able to grab the phone outright from JB Hi-Fi or Dick Smith from July 15 for $499. The slightly bad news? We’re not getting a 4G version.

The device will be available in either black or white. Huawei is also producing a pink variant, but says local retailers have said there won’t be sufficient demand to justify bringing that in. We’re not unhappy about that.
