There have been more than a few Wikileaks movies so far. We Steal Secrets and small-screen Aussie series, Underground, just to name two. Now there’s a trailer for the highest profile one yet, packed with stars and featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as Julian Assange called The Fifth Estate. Here’s the first trailer.
The movie focuses around the birth of Wikileaks, as well as the work of Julian Assange and his counterpart, Daniel Domscheit-Berg.
The movie stars Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Trek Into Darkness) as Assange, and also features Stanley Tucci, Daniel Brühl and Laura Linney.
The Fifth Estate hits cinemas in October.
