Samsung Galaxy NX: Here’s Your First Interchangeable-Lens Android DSLR

Remember when it was the Samsung CEO said that the company would put Android on its DSLR cameras? Turns out that’s happening quicker than you think.

Basically, it’s a mirrorless, interchangeable lens Samsung NX-series camera with Android on it.

That means it’s 4G-enabled with a 20.3-megapixel APS-C sensor, a fast auto-focus thanks to the Hybrid Auto Focus system, and it’s compatible with 13 different interchangable lenses.

It’ll be running Android 4.2, complete with Samsung’s own software like Story Album, Smart Mode 2.0 for better scene shooting and Photo Suggest to tell you where nice photo spots are when abroad.

No word on release date just yet, we’ve been told to expect it in Q4 this year.

Would you buy a DSLR with Android?
