PS4 Has A 500GB Hard Drive And The PS4 Eye Costs Extra

One of the questions we had about the PS4 before today was what kind of storage would it be packing. How big would it be? Is it built in? Would it be removable? Well, Sony answered it in its Japanese press release for the PlayStation 4. It’s a 500GB HDD, just like the Xbox One.

If you want the PlayStation 4 Eye, it will run you around $60. Same cost as a PS4 controller. Getting an Eye for the PS4 would still make it cheaper than the straight shot $599 for an Xbox One + Kinect, but the Kinect is of course much more powerful. [Sony Japan via Engadget]
