Stare In Awe At Wet Hedgehogs, Rats And Dogs Shaking In Slow Motion

Slo-mo footage of wet dogs shaking themselves dry are a dime a dozen online. But wet dogs and wet hedgehogs and rats? Now that’s something new, and we can thank BBC Earth Productions for this mesmerising footage.

As we’ve always kind of known, while many animals can shake to help dry off, dogs are still the best at it. In just four seconds, a canine can shake its entire body 16 to 20 times, getting rid of over 70 per cent of the water on it. They put hedgehogs, rats and especially humans to shame, but that’s good, because no one likes that wet dog smell.
