At the opening of its second Australian concept store in Melbourne, Samsung unveiled Australian release plans for the Galaxy Note 8.0. You can pre-order it in either the Sydney or Melbourne store right now, with delivery slated for around the second week of April.

Right now, only the Wi-Fi version has been announced, with a price tag of $459. The 3G model will follow, probably in mid-May, but local pricing for that hasn’t been set. We’ll have a full gallery from the store opening and an Australian hands-on with the Note 8.0 a little later today.
