Google: We Will Have A Prescription Solution For Glass

So far, we’ve only seen Google Glass in its lensless frame — not incredibly friendly for the hoards of nerds among us who wear prescription glasses. Google has finally quelled our biggest fear.

Here is the announcement:

The Glass design is modular, so you will be able to add frames and lenses that match your prescription.

Unfortunately, this version still won’t be available with the initial Explorer Edition. But we should be seeing myopic folk with Glass attached to their frames, just like our friend above with an actual prototype, by the end of the year. [Google Plus via The Next Web]
