Hacker, modder and DIY extraordinaire Ben Heck has seemingly done the impossible with his latest project. For years, a fierce battle has raged between proponents of the big three gaming consoles, but to finally bring peace and civility to gaming forums across the land, Heck created an all-in-one console that combines a PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
It’s been said that true gamers don’t care what hardware they have to use — it’s all about the games. And with Ben Heck’s Ultimate Combo System, your entertainment centre doesn’t have to overfloweth with consoles and cables.
Sadly, like all of Heck’s creations, the UCS isn’t for sale. The original will be given away as part of a contest on Element 14’s site. So the only way to guarantee yourself one is to carefully follow the directions on this series of videos and hack one together on your own. No one said peace came easily.
