LG Optimus G Gets Priced On Telstra

The LG Optimus G will finally come out next month, making it six months since the phone premiered in South Korea. Telstra have finally priced the Optimus G while at the same time opening pre-orders.

The fashionably late Optimus G will cost you $0 upfront on Telstra’s $60 Every Day Connect Plan for 24 months. That plan gets you $600 worth of eligible calls, unlimited SMS and 1GB of included data.

In case you forgot what the Optimus G brings to the table, it’s essentially the Nexus 4 with more 4G.

Telstra is trying to sweeten the pre-order deal by giving away a Formula 1 prize pack. From the press release:

The prize package includes flights and accommodation to Melbourne for 2 people, Friday Paddock Club pass, pit lane walk, a hot-lap in a 2 seater F1 car, grandstand passes for Saturday and Sunday, and $1,000 to spend.

That should totally make up for it being half a year late to the party, right?

You can get your mits on the Optimus G from March 12.
