I think everybody’s goal for 2013 should be to do something so awesome to be included in this wrap-up video that shows how incredible humans can be. Yes, I understand that making it your life goal to be included in a YouTube video sounds ridiculously silly, but just watch it.
It’s four minutes of extremely fun living and pushing the human body to the max. Double backflips, car jumps, sport savants, beautiful hand-eye coordination, a disregard for failure — this is the kind of life worth living. [YouTube via Kottke]

Agreedly awesome!
There are some pretty amazing stuff in there, but I'd love to see that fail version.
That boy on the rollerskates... He'll never have kids! ...YOWCH!
my jaw dropped with some of those things!
Stunning video!
My neighbours are awake to the sound of 'YEAH BOY!!!'
I see some dead Aussies this Australia Day, mainly cos I'm gonna find me my canyon rope drop site....
excuse me while I pick my jaw off the floor!
Man some of that was borderline suicidal, all of it was friggin awesome...! :}
i'm overloaded...I can't stop re-watching this.
The NFL / Baseball's thrown and caught are so freaking fake it's not funny. But the rest are awesome.
yea couple of fakies in there for sure
I was bored after a minute and stopped watching. Too many idiots with too much time on their hands.
remi gaillard is the guy doing the soccer trick shots... he definitely has way too much time on his hands!!!
... wouldn't say it make any of this any less impressive though!
I stopped reading comments after this one. Too many idiots with too much time on their hands
How old are you MotorMouth? Cos you sound like a dour old sod..! :)
..old enough to forget how to have fun.
Do you seriously think that is fun? That is the end result of tens of thousands of hours of boring, mind-numbing practice, especially if they can pull it out whenever there is a camera to capture it (although they mostly look like they were carefully staged for the camera). To me that is the complete opposite of fun, which should generally be more spontaneous. e.g. Driving on a great piece of twisty mountain road for the first time is fun, driving around and around a race track at much higher speed is not, even though it may look more impressive on camera.
lol I see MM being the old grumpy bloke at the local council meetings complaining about uneven, cracked footpaths!
Suffice to say, I would give anything to be able to pull that siht off
Still looking for the right canyon to swing from..... Anyone??
While I agree that most of those stunts would have not been spontaneous (and most of the rest were dumb luck), the feats of daring and pure athleticism were very awesome.
This video reminded me of what a person can achieve if they really want, and brought back memories of the live shows I've seen where a performer doesn't get to do another take. Seeing some of that stuff live is jaw-dropping.
I can just see everyone submitting their entry into the 2013 FAIL compilation video as a result of watching this video.
