Here’s something you might want to save up for — Symbol Audio’s beautiful Tabletop HiFi speakers. They look like the were ripped straight from a stylish episode of Mad Men, 20 years from now when they remake Mad Men.
Although the console has a vintage look, the quality of sound is supposedly straight from 2013. The set comes in a number of different colour and finish combos. It has two 4-inch full range drivers with titanium cones and a 5.25-inch subwoofer to blast some bumping bass. It has AirPlay support but it also comes with a cable, just in case. They cost $US1800, but they sure are handsome. If Don Draper were alive in the present — and if he were a real person — the Tabletop HiFi is presumably what he’d have in his living room.
