Report: Nokia Might Release A Lighter Lumia

Good news for your brittle bird bones — Nokia is apparently working on a new batch of Lumias for 2013, and they’re supposed to be much lighter.

Apparently, the next-gen Windows Phones will ditch the current polycarbonate build for an all aluminium body, making it lighter and thinner. Codenamed “Catwalk”, the device is said to be the followu-p to the Lumia 920, which at 185g is heavy as hell. Nokia wouldn’t chat up more slender Lumias, telling us: “Per company policy, we don’t comment on market rumours or speculation.”

I’m all for lighter aLUMIAnums, sheerly for the wordplay possibilities. And also these insufferable T-Rex arms. [The Verge]
