Foxtel's Catch-Up Service Coming To Android, iPhone, Mac And PC

Foxtel put out its Go iPad app late last year, offering catch-up and live streaming to Apple tablet users. Now we're finding out that those on other platforms will get the chance to use the service, as Foxtel pledges to bring the app to Android and iPhone devices as well as Macs and PCs soon.

If you're an iPhone or iPod Touch user, you'll get Foxtel Go next month. Foxtel promises that other platforms, including Android and PCs, will come "shortly after that".

You'll still need a Foxtel subscription to access Go, but it's being expanded to include new content, including a movie channel. That should keep some of the angry mob happy, right? [Lifehacker]

No, I disconnected, got sick of the constant life insurance ads, price rise after price rise, the same crap on constant rotation. Pay the same for less Movies, no, sorry Foxtel, I walked away.

As much as I loathe Foxtels endless repeats and intrusive commercials, they went a long way to keep me a little while longer when they released their London Olympics iPad app, and now Go. Now you should make HD and IQ standard, and keep the content fresh.

I like the Go app, free for existing foxtel subscribers. Its great!
