Australia Will Get The BlackBerry Z10 And BlackBerry Q10 [Updated]

Wondering when you can get your hands on one of the new BlackBerry 10 devices? Good news: CEO Thorsten Heins just announced that Australia is a launch market.

Local carriers are testing the BlackBerry 10 devices right now.

Both Telstra and Optus have said they’ll range the BlackBerry Z10, with release dates said to be similar to those of the US, meaning we’ll get it in March. No word on pricing just yet.

Neither carrier will confirm if they will range the QWERTY-powered Q10 just yet, but BlackBerry expects it to hit the global market in April.

Speaking of the global market, the BlackBerry Z10 is launching in the UK tomorrow and in Canada on February 5. The US will get the Z10 in March, simply due to the drawn-out testing process involved in rolling out new handsets, similar to ours, really.
