Your Dinner Guests Will Love Dining Off These Testicle Plates

Nothing goes better with a delicious meal than an engaging conversation, and what better way to spark a discussion over dessert than to reveal to your guests that they’re actually dining on fine bone china patterned to look like human tissue? And not just any tissue, but samples from the liver, thyroid, oesophagus and testicles. Yum.

The patterns were created by medical illustrator Emily Evans working with tissue slides under an actual microscope. So there’s no actual liver or testicle on any of the plates. The complete set of four eight-inch plates runs $US400, but you can buy them individually for $US60 if you have a soft spot for a particular organ.
