Explore The Bewildering World Of Context-Less Wikipedia Gifs

Aside from being a wonderful way to have a party, GIFs can be a great way to demonstrate something. They’re often used that way on Wikipedia. A wonderful site called Wikigifs, however, pulls them out of that educational Wikipedian context and brings them right back to abstract weirdness.

The site was created by one Joel Franusic and serves only that purpose: feeding you countless GIFs devoid of the context that gives them any sort of coherent meaning. You can sit for 10 seconds or 10 minutes, just hitting the spacebar for another jolt of abstracted GIFness that may or may not make any sort of sense. So take a few minutes and dive in.
