Fancy an evening networking with your peers, beer, food, trivia and prizes? Thanks to the Microsoft Windows Server 2012 team, Gizmodo’s sister site, Lifehacker, is hosting a one-off meetup for IT professionals in Sydney this Thursday November 15!

The event will kick off at 6pm at a central Sydney location near Darling Harbour and Gizmodo’s editor, Luke Hopwell, will also be there. There will be drinks and snacks, tech trivia to stretch your brain, and the opportunity to network and the chance to win awesome prizes, both as individuals and in teams.

For this event, we’re looking to readers who work as IT professionals (and who will be in Sydney on November 15): we want this to be an event where you can network with your peers. In the Qualifications field, give us a the URL of your LinkedIn profile, or other proof that you work as an IT professional.

The first 30 qualifying submissions will get to come along (though we’ll also put a handful of people on waitlists because, as we know, last-minute stuff happens sometimes.) We’ll contact you by email with venue details if you’re successful.
