Shooting Challenge: Reflections… Win An Olympus OM-D EM-5 Camera!

Welcome to Shooting Challenge, where Gizmodo readers test their photographic skills for the admiration of their editors — and for the second month — the chance to win a shiny new Olympus OM-D EM-5 camera. Entries close Tuesday morning….

Prizes

That’s right, we’re back with another Olympus OM-D EM-5 camera to giveaway! The EM-5 is designed to make the jump into Micro Four-Thirds shooting easy. With Live View functionality that lets you see exactly what a shot will look like before you take it, coupled with a 5-axis in-body image stabiliser for shooting in low light, and a retro design inspired by the first OM-D from 1972, the EM-5 lets you capture some beautiful shots. More at Olympus.

We’re excited to be able to give this one more away to Gizmodo’s Shooting Challenge faithful.

The kit you’re playing for is valued at $1299, and includes the OM-D EM-5 body and the compact 14-42mm zoom lens.

This Week’s Challenge: Reflections

The Olympus OMD EM-5 is an awesome mirrorless camera. The fact that it’s mirrorless means it can be smaller and lighter than a traditional DSLR while still maintaining the benefits of swappable glass and great image quality. While we’re on the topic of mirrors: this week’s challenge is Reflections!

Reflections have a beautiful other-worldliness about them. The world can look exactly the same, but still completely different thanks to reflections. We want you to show us the world upside-down and back-to-front in this week’s challenge. Whether you capture the sky and shoreline reflected in a body of water, or if you grab an amazing portrait shot through a vintage mirror, even if light streaming onto the floor reflects your subject, we want your best images. Hell, even if you wander into a hall of mirrors, that will count!

We don’t want stuff that’s been too heavily photoshopped, and you must include all that EXIF data with your entry in order to be eligible.
