The US election may be over, but our love for Election — the vintage watch brand, not the Calvinist doctrine of predestination — has only just begun.
We recently discovered this obscure company, which belongs to the same family of fine Swiss watch makers that includes the famed Vulcain brand (whose “Cricket” models appeared on the wrists of several presidents). The watches are so good, we’re feeling downright partisan.
This day-and-date model features Roman numerals for the time and day, and a window for the month. Best of all, the day of the week appears in French abbreviation, from dimanche (DI) to samedi (SA). Election watches of this quality don’t often appear on the market, so snap it up before the collector class locks it under glass for all eternity.
