Dell Gives Australian Prices To Every Windows 8 Device It Makes

Ahead of the Windows 8 launch on Friday, Dell has come out with a big fat update for us. Here is how much you can expect to pay for every single Windows 8 device the company makes, including the XPS 12 convertible tablet, the Latitude tablet, and both the Inspiron One 23 AIO and the Inspiron 15z.

XPS Duo 12

The XPS Duo 12 represents Dell’s push in the Windows 8 convertible space. This bafflingly-beautiful, backflipping build sports a 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor, a 12.5-inch touch panel, a whopping 8GB of RAM, integrated graphics and a 256GB SSD. Weighing in at just over 1.5 kilos, the XPS Duo 12 will set you back $1499 in its base configuration.

Latitude 10 Tablet

The Latitude is primarily pitched at business, but like HP’s ElitePad, it’s probably one consumers will get a kick out of, too.

The base model of the Latitude gets you a 10.1-inch tablet with an 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of SSD storage and full Windows 8. All that will set you back $899, or you can opt for the $1099 model which bundles in Microsoft Office.

Inspiron 15z

This is Dell’s Windows 8 ultrabook flagship. Priced at $999, you’ll be packing a 1.5GHz Intel Core i5 processor, a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 screen, 4GB worth of RAM, a 500GB hard drive with a 32GB caching SSD and a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT630M. You can customise that to the nines into a unit that will set you back $1499, if you really want to.

Inspiron One 23 AIO with touch

The Inspiron One 23 AIO is a touch-enabled all-in-one that sports a 3.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB worth of RAM, along with a 1TB hard drive and Windows 8. That one will cost you $1199 of your hard earned.
