This interesting table draws inspiration from mashrabiyas — the traditional wooden window screens you see in Middle Eastern architecture. On one side, it’s made of 650 little oak components. On the other, it’s simple and pared down. The combination is unexpected and utterly beautiful.

An expert Lebanese woodworker put together the hundreds of pieces, and it’s obvious that he’s highly skilled at his craft, because just look at that intricate detail. Kind of like Lincoln Logs, but with so much more awesome. [Design Boom]
