Kobo Ups The Storage And Drops The Price Of Its New Tablet

When we previewed the Kobo Arc tablet a little while ago, we called it a serious competitor to the Nexus 7’s tablet throne. Kobo it seems is still looking to improve its odds in the fight for 7-inch tablet relevance by upping the storage and dropping the price of its Arc tablet before it’s even hit the market.

The Kobo Arc was slated to come out in 8GB and 16GB variants, but now Kobo has dashed the 8GB version in favour of more storage and lower prices.

It goes on sale in early-November and you’ll pay $249.99 for the 16GB, $299.99 for the 32GB and a fairly reasonable $349.99 for the 64GB model. That’s opposed to the original price of $249 for the 8GB and $299 for the 16GB.

Is this going to put the Arc on top of the Nexus 7?
