Amazon is holding an event to announce what we expect is going to be two new Kindles in a few hours, and now we have a new indication that everyone’s favourite forest will be announcing its new smartphone at the event, as well.
Along with the two rumoured 7-inch tablets, The Verge is reporting via sources placed within Amazon that a phone is definitely in the works.
It’s being reported that the phone will run the a similar, heavily-modified version of Android that the Kindle Fire runs, along with Nokia Maps for navigation.
