Another FujiFilm Retro Beauty Leaks (This Time Pocket-Sized)

Shortly after supposed leaked images of a rumoured FujiFilm X-E1 hit the web, another camera oozing vintage magnificence has shown up.

The same website where the X-E1 image surfaced, Digicam Info, now has pics of a compact version of Fuji’s popular “X” line. This little dude, possibly known as the “XP1″ or “XF1″ (as pointed out by PetaPixel), features an affixed zoom lens with a 4x zoom factor, f/1.8-4.9 aperture, and a control ring at its rear.

If this thing is for real, it will be interesting to see how it measures up to the other cameras in the “X” line in sensor size and performance. Will it contain a larger sensor like the successful Sony RX100? A guy can dream.

In any case, Fuji seems to be looking to make its style-centric cameras more accessible to a wider range of amateurs looking for a simpler point-and-shoot. But like its bigger brothers, expect those looks to not come cheap. [Digicam Info via PetaPixel]
