The World’s Largest Lollipop Weighs 3.5 Tonnes

See’s Candies celebrated National Lollipop Day (which is apparently a thing) in the US on July 20th by unveiling its record-breaking confection — a 3175-kilogram version of the company’s signature Gourmet Lollipop.

The gargantu-lolli measured a whopping 1.48 metres, 1.09 metres in width, and 1.79 metres in height. It’s mounted on a 3.5 metre stick and, even though the stick didn’t count towards the final weight, the lollipop still broke the previous record set in 2009 by nearly 225 kilograms.
