If A Shark Ever Tries To Eat You, Just Feed It Your Expensive Underwater Camera Rig Instead

If you’re squeamish about expensive camera gear getting destroyed, or large underwater creatures with rows of razor sharp teeth, you’ll definitely want to skip this clip. It’s kind of a PSA about the dangers of swimming with sharks, except that it probably doesn’t end how you’d except.

In fact, the only thing that gets hurt in this video is an expensive-looking underwater camera and flash rig, someone’s pocketbook, and a photographer’s ego for abandoning their gear on the ocean floor. There’s no telling why the shark grabbed the rig, but the safe assumption is that like anyone amateur with a DSLR these days, it has dreams of becoming a professional wedding photographer.
