Def Leppard Covers Its Own Hits, Pours Some Sugar On Stephen Colbert


If you are a Def Leppard fan (and a law-abiding citizen), you have been painfully denied your favourite jams due to a dispute between the band and its former label Universal.

As a not-so-simple workaround, Def Leppard decided to simply re-record its old tracks, trying to match the original sound. Clearly a metal fan, Stephen Colbert was pretty bowled over by this feat of self-forgery.
