You’d Always Know What The Time Was In This Hotel Room

One of the first things I always do when checking into a hotel room is to check the clock — and especially check if there were any pesky alarms still set. I wouldn’t have to look far in this hotel room built around a Belgian clock tower.

The Hotel Gent is a temporary installation around the Ghent Sint-Pieters railway station, as part of the refurbishment work to celebrate the centenary of its opening. It’s part hotel room (fully booked, sadly) and partly an art exhibition designed by Japanese artist Tazu Rous. I wonder if you can change the hand settings to give yourself five minutes more sleep?
