9to5mac is reporting that the MacBook Air will receive a modest update to its memory and storage — changes that will be announced at WWDC later today.
The reports suggests the following combos of processor/RAM/SSD for the 11.6-inch MacBook Air:
MD223LL/A – MBA 11.6/1.7/4/64FLASH-USA
MD224LL/A – MBA 11.6/1.7/4/128FLASH-USA
MD845LL/A — MBA 11.6/2.0/8/256FLASH-USA
And similarly for the 13-inch device:
MD231LL/A — MBAIR 13.3/1.8/4/128FLASH-USA
MD232LL/A — MBAIR 13.3/1.8/4/256FLASH-USA
MD846LL/A — MBAIR 13.3/2.0/8/512FLASH-USA
Obviously, these are just rumours, but we don’t have long to wait before we find out if they’re true. Including an option to reach up to 8GB of RAM seems like a good move for power users. But a 512GB SSD? Who the hell would be able to afford that? [9to5mac]
