Samsung Galaxy S III: Australian Outright Purchase Prices

I’ve never been a big fan of buying my phone as part of a contract. It’s probably an archaic way of doing things, but a part of me enjoys purchasing the hardware straight up, without tying myself down to a single operator. If this is the approach you’ve decided to take with Samsung’s recently released Galaxy S III, you might want to take a peek at the chart below.

Ausdroid has taken the time to put together a chart of what it describes as the “more legible online and physical Australian retailers” selling the S III. If you’re not planning on ordering it online from somewhere like the UK, it suggests these as the best options locally (at least at the moment):

Dick Smith tops the list for the 16GB model at $747, while MobiCity and Kogan take out 16GB and 32GB at $889 and $989 respectively (though MobiCity requires a $10 discount coupon and the Kogan prices don’t include $19 shipping).

Any cheaper retailers the chart has missed? Let us know where you’ve spotted it.
