Rumourmodo: Telstra Delayed The HTC One XL

The HTC One X is a great phone, but one that you can currently only get on Optus or Vodafone’s networks. Its Telstra LTE equivalent, the One XL was originally tipped to follow shortly after the One X’s launch, but it looks like we might have to wait a while longer.

According to Ausdroid, Telstra may have been forced to delay the launch of a 4G-compatible One XL until at least the middle of June. Forced? So the rumour goes, there’s a significant shortage of Snapdragon S4 chips — bearing in mind that the XL’s internal architecture is subtly different from the quad-core One X — and this leads rather inevitably to a shortage of XL handsets.
