Paper Gramophone: A Fold-In Musical Odyssey

Those of the older generation — or audiophiles who still love the sound of vinyl — may still have a few LPs lying around with no way to play them. Made mostly from paper, you can make most of this funky gramophone.

It’s a paper craft project by Jón Hólmgeirsson that uses thick paper, thin plywood, a record needle and a power source to send out the audio. OK, you won’t get audiophile level sound out of a paper horn, but still — this thing is cool. [Jónófón via Wired]
