It was only in December that Sydney’s DJ Smokin Joe Mekhael achieved the longest longest DJ set in history – 132 hours. Or so we thought, the marathon DJ crown was later to relinquished to a Californian DJ’s earlier but unknown 150 hour attempt. But now we can put all that aside: Fellow Aussie, DJ Hertz, is in the mix at Brisbane’s The Aviary right now — 122 hours non-stop and counting.
