Since his passing, there have been countless wonderful tributes to Steve Jobs’s life and legacy — but this is not one of them. This $US15 hairdryer printed with his name is a cash grab, and a terrible one at that.
The iFeng 4S is no different than the cheap hairdryers you’ll find at Target or Kmart, save for a small bit of gold lettering that reads “Steve Jobs 1955-2011″. Well, that, and a host of tasteless graphics and advertisements on the TMall website featuring Steve’s headshot next to it.

I’m not even going to make a suggestion as to how this could have been made into a nice tribute, because it can’t. It’s a cheap piece of crap that flies in the face of everything Steve Jobs created and dedicated his life to. Terrible, terrible, terrible. [TMall via Inventor Spot]

Friday, February 3, 2012 at 8:57 AMThat’s awesome. They clearly haven’t studied the Apple business model well enough though – as they should have at least released the iFeng 4 first, with several expected features missing, then released the iFeng 4S next year, with some slight improvements.
