This Awesome Ship Is The Only Cruise I Would Take

Captain Schettino or not, I hate cruises. Being trapped in a giant floating building with 3000 people and a buffet is my idea of bloody hell. But I would love to go across the Amazon river on the ship above.

It’s called Aria, the twin sister to Aqua, two luxury cruises owned by a company called Aqua Expeditions. It looks weird and wacky, yet strangely beautiful.

Of course, other than enjoying the ship itself, you stop also stop along the way to explore all the different river habitats and say hi to the pythons and the yacares. I want to do this with my own Katherine Hepburn (I know, the Amazon is not in Africa. Stop saying words). [Aqua Expeditions via Fancy]

Ha! Looks like a wanky pseudo-modernist new hose design bolted onto an idealised Art Deco toy boat. It almost works but it really does lack elegance.
…Maybe if they gave it a more classical looking bridge? That could be the solution.

I’d be betting few of us could afford that cruise.
