Clever Collapsing Whisk Saves Drawer Space

I prefer a clutter free kitchen, which means everything has to be hidden away, including wire whisks which are notoriously selfish at hoarding drawer space. At least until I replace mine with Ding3000’s brilliantly simple compact collapsing Beater.

Inspired by a bundle of straws, a sliding ring serves to open or close the plastic fingers on the Beater, and when fully collapsed a plastic hook pops out of the bottom allowing the whisk to be hung on a rack. It’s not available for sale just yet, but when it is you’ll be able to order one from Normann Copenhagen in a variety of bright colours you probably won’t want to hide. [DING3000 via Spotted By]
