An iPhone Used As A Hockey Puck At 130km/h

If you want to sell something in tech, you can either employ cleavage or violence. In this case, the boys at G-Form are demoing their new iPhone case by beating the hell out of it with a hockey stick. Sure!

There’s not a whole lot to say here. The case is meant to be tough. Apparently, it’s tough enough to get slapped by a hockey stick at 130km/h and then take a phone call. On the other hand, the case looks like a giant bulky yellow highlighter. We loved G-Form’s iPad case, so if you plan on throwing your iPhone against a brick wall as hard as you can and then stomping on it until you have an asthma attack, this is probably a good choice too.

it would help alot more if they used footage from the actual phone when it got hit

I couldn’t agree more. what a wasted opportunity.

Same goes for ‘will it blend’. of course it’d have to be a streaming video, no way to recover it after

I don’t get it. The case doesn’t help with g-forces, and with that slapshot.. it’s pretty intense. I’m surprised the internal components didn’t bust.
