As if being the tallest building in the world isn’t already impressive enough, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai put on one of the most amazing fireworks displays I’ve ever seen to ring in the new year.
Instead of just surrounding the building with giant colourful explosions, the Burj Khalifa itself was turned into a 2,723 foot tall launch pad. And it packed enough firepower for a five and a half minute display of pure eye candy that’s worth watching all the way through.
Seriously, even if you had an amazing evening celebrating the arrival of 2012, I guarantee it was nothing like this. [YouTube via Geekosystem]
