What Is This?

Is this a power pack? Nah. A pico projector? Nope. Is it a cube? It claims to be, but it looks more like a rectangular prism to me. Will it really redefine an entire category? Looks aside, we’re not so sure about that, but Logitech sure thinks it will. So what is this thing?

It’s a mouse. Yes, this weird little piece of geometry is a mouse. But more than just a wireless, surface-dwelling input device, the Logitech Cube is also a presentation aid that can be used to go back and forth between slides when you pick it up in the air. And if you stroke the top in mouse mode, it’s touch-sensitive skin will scroll through whatever you want it to. Will this be worth your $US70? [Logitech]
