Waterproof Android Devices Are Swimmingly Cool

Everything should be waterproof. Especially phones, because you know how you love to poop and talk. You can thankfully drop Fujitsu’s new line of waterproof Android phones and tablets in the crapper without ruining them.

The 10.1-inch, 16GB tablet has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1280×800 WXGA display, front and rear facing cameras, and an LTE antenna so you can internet like a crazy person. Even crazier, it has a remote hand gesture function so you can control the tablet without actually touching it. Also, we used it while submerged in a fishbowl. The future! The one I saw was running Honeycomb, but Fujitsu said it would be upgradable.

Meanwhile, the slim little Android phone is equally waterproof, has a Gorilla Glass front with a 4-inch 480×800 AMOLED display and is a mere 6.7 mm thick. It only has a rear-facing camera, and well, Android 2.3. But come on, you can make calls with it from underwater. Again, the future!
