After watching this animatronic robotic infant writhe around on the floor with no skin hiding its internal components, I bet you’ll appreciate those awkward Uncanny Valley CG characters seen in films like The Polar Express.
The video was posted to YouTube by kitanimboy, who appears to be a freelance special effects artist. And I apologise for sharing it, but knowing that others are probably just as freaked out as I am will certainly help me sleep tonight.
