Phone-size.com is a useful little website that compares the size of phones against each other. Can your weeny hands handle a gargantuan Galaxy Nexus? Are your skinny jeans too tight for a Nokia Lumia 800? You’ll find out!.
Phone-size.com’s phone selection is pretty impressive so if you’re looking to buy any phone, it’s probably good to check their website out before you commit (especially if you’re too lazy to go to a brick and mortar store). The website is clever enough to adapt to your computer’s display, so you’re getting a fairly real-life look at how big your future phone will be. DO YOU STILL LIKE BIG PHONES? Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:24 AMNo! I never did. My favourite phone ever was my Samsung X820. It was tiny and gorgeous. But this site is handy, it just showed me that the Omnia W (Focus Flash) is no smaller than a Lumia 800, so I am back on-board with the Nokia.

Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:03 AMHrmmm doesn’t have Telsta’s news darling the Velocity 4G. Doesn’t bode well for my worries that it’s a phone that won’t be supported/used outside of Australia.
Oh, and, all these phones ARE FAR TOO BIG!!!!!!!!!! Why do I have to get a iPhone to get a respectable sized screen?????? C’mon Android makers!

Friday, January 27, 2012 at 3:11 PMIt’s used outside Australia, it just has a different name. It was originally called “holiday” or something. It’s big sized though.
There are plenty of small sized Android phones out there, but consumers generally want bigger phones because larger screens are better for gaming and using the internet, so that’s what the manufacturers cater to.

Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 3:58 PMYou don’t. The Sony Xperia Ray is a lot smaller than an iPhone and much cheaper, too. HTC Wildfires are also small.

Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:28 AM4.3″ is a great size, for me.. admittedly there are times that I find it difficult to reach the top of the screen if I am using one hand to operate the device but I hardly ever do that, so having the VERY slight inconvenience 5% (or less) of the time is worth it to have a much bigger area of useable screen. Anythign bigger than 4.3″ is getting too big.. even 4.5″.. I might downgrade to a 4″ for my next phone but not becaue I find 4.3″ too big.

Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:45 AMWent from Desire HD to SGN… I love the massive size of my screen as I use it so much! I read all my ebooks on my phone now as this screen size is perfect.
Bigger phone is better phone!

Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 4:01 PMI can comfortably read on my ZuneHD’s 3.3″ screen, I just need to turn pages more frequently. i.e. Screen size is not a factor with e-books. But e-ink is much easier on the eyes, particularly when its dark.

Is another good one, but also shows the specs of the phones, and gives a brief list of pros for each phone, as compared to the other.
