Toshiba Bringing World’s Thinnest Tablet And Ultrabook To CES

Toshiba’s no stranger to ultra-thin portable devices (see: the Excite tablet and Protege Z830 ultrabook). Now Toshiba claims to once again have developed the world’s thinnest 10.1-inch tablet and 13.3-inch ultrabook.

In addition to these super-slim devices, Toshiba also has announced that it will also have a waterproof, OLED tablet prototype that charges wirelessly. It isn’t revealing any product names or additional specs yet, but we’ll have more coverage of all these devices once the show gets underway. [Engadget - The Verge]

And what OS will it run? No point having the worlds thinnest anything unless it has something under the hood to back it up. It’s like Ferrari saying it’s made the sleekest new car, but can’t say what engine it will have. At this point, it is just a nice coffee table ornament.
