It’s happening! One of my favourite Lego projects ever is coming to life: Lego Minecraft! The company just announced it officially:
We’re happy to announce that the Minecraft project on LEGO CUUSOO has passed the LEGO review and we are now developing a concept that celebrates the best aspects of building with the LEGO system and in Minecraft. We can’t wait to show it to you-but it isn’t ready just yet. These things take time, so we appreciate your patience. More details are to come.
Lego Minecraft is coming to life after 10,000 Lego and Minecraft fans voted it on Lego Cuusoo, an official site in which Lego fans can post their own creations and people can vote to make them a reality.

When there are amazing detailed sets like the Modular Buildings available, why are people excited about Lego that mimics the style of Minecraft?
