Perhaps mentioning this is a beta might be helpful?

OK the update on my computer came through the FF client, so definitely not a beta! The last I checked all my add ons are working fine and I’m sure they didn’t call it an upgrade if all they did was hide a button. Sheesh, lighten up

Self hiding forward buttons! Now that’s the headline I want to hear about.

Ha ha I was about to Download this until I read the headline feature – a self hiding forward button. If that’s not the biggest tech news of the year I dunno what is…

Hey.. If that’s the change they need to make this “Firefox 10″ then so be it.

So not worth giving the major version number a hike over. Seriously Mozilla slow down. The addon publishers can’t keep up!

This is why I stopped using firefox.

Update every day for something disgustingly negligible? DO NOT WANT.

I stopped using it because it is a resource hogging troll that slows my PC down. Switched to Chrome, much faster at the moment. Not browser loyalty here, just whichever works the best.

Obviously they are updating so Joe Smith doesn’t see IE9 and FF4 and think, 9 is higher and therefore better. It’s the same logic Microsoft used to name the Xbox 360, as they didn’t want people to see Playstation 3 verses Xbox 2 and think, bigger numbers are better.

With that said, I still use 3.6.25, as every time I go to update some addons aren’t compatible, and by the time they all are compatible with one version, another has come out and they don’t work with that.
