Need an iPhone tethering app? For $1.99 (and likely a very limited time only), you can download QuasiDisk, a file-viewing app that can also share a connection over a proxy.
TheNextWeb says it takes a fair amount of tweaking to get it working, but it does work. [iTunes via TheNextWeb]

Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 8:31 AMI always laugh a little to myself when there’s all these probably-going-to-be-removed apps for tethering an iPhone.
My Android phone (HTC Desire HD) has a Wireless Hotspot tethering app BUILT IN to the operating system. I can use my phone tethered to my laptop any time I like.

Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 8:41 AMI’m assuming that this app merely allows it to work through a proxy because I’ve been using my iphone as a wireless hotspot with tethering for a while now. Pretty sure its a standard feature in the iPhone…
