Win An iPad 2 With Awesome Wallee Accessories!

Gizmodo AU

It’s giveaways week here at Gizmodo, and on Tuesday we asked you to caption a pic of Opposition Leader Tony Abbott with an iPad — to win, well an iPad! With some great Wallee mountable iPad hard case accessories. And the winner is…

Henry Holm!

“Tony Abbott is excited to find a device with more conservative views on censorship than himself.”

That made us chuckle Congrats Henry! We’ll be in touch via email today!

This competition is now closed.

The Wallee consists of two main parts – the $39.95 hard case, which wraps around your iPad without covering access to any buttons (the bracket hole on the back even lines up with the precious Apple logo)….

…and the $10 wall mountable mounting disc, which screws into any surface and allows you to quickly and securely mount an iPad in either portrait or landscape mode.

To make sure you have something to use it with, this prize includes an iPad 2 (16GB Wi-Fi + 3G) valued at $729.

You’ll also score the Wallee Pivot desktop stand (valued at $59.95) and Wallee Carry bag (valued at $39.95).

To enter: just write a caption below (in 30 words or less) for this picture of Tony Abbott and a TV reporter with an iPad. The caption we judge the most amusing will be the winner. Extra points for suitable technology references.

Entries close Wednesday December 14 at 10am, so get cracking. Full terms and conditions here

Here is what you’re missing Mr Abbott: dishing out orders via FaceTime; showing off your own budget numbers with Keynote and checking out the cricket while Parliment is in session.

Reporter: The wireless seems to have dropped out. Good thing we’re not relying on that? *chuckles*

Abbot: “Why is that taking so long to load?”
Reporter: “It’s using 3G, you know, that thing you keep insisting is just as good as the NBN”
Abbot: “That’s because Labor is running it, mine will be better.”
