Watch Winding Entertainment Center Is A Monolith Of Excess

This is either the world’s most opulent watch winder, or the most over-accessorised media centre. Either way, the Gigantis is targeted squarely at those who only care about showing off their lavish lifestyle.

The all-in-one cabinet opens to reveal slots for automatically winding 59 more watches than I own, controlled by a central touchscreen interface that keeps track of where the Rolexes and Tag Heuers are hiding. Below that is an LCD display with media centre functionality, followed by a working fireplace.

Below the banks of watch winders you’ll also find a temperature controlled humidor for storing your fine smokeables, and an illuminated mini bar. Not surprisingly the Gigantis starts at around $123,000, but that’s just the base price. It can be further customised with wood or leather finishes to match your decor and/or obnoxious lifestyle. I always like to see these overly lavish and ridiculously pointless displays of wealth. Do people actually need watch winders? Surely they have butlers and other servants to do that job…? :)

looks like two screens, not a fireplace BTW. Makes a little more sence, but just a little.
