Given today’s verdict in the Apple Samsung Hell in a Cell cage match, it’s no surprise that we’re starting to see companies starting to take orders for the 10.1-inch Android tablet. First off the bat is Vodafone, who announced orders placed before December 16 will arrive by Christmas.
Voda is offering the tablet on a range of 12 and 24 month contracts, starting at $39 a month for the tablet plus data, as you can see from the tables below:

Samsung has also announced retailers including Harvey Norman, JB Hifi, Good Guys, Myer, Bing Lee and Office Works will all stock the tablet when it arrives next week.
Now the only question is who is going to buy one, and who is waiting for a Samsung model with updated specs?

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 7:59 PMPersonally i would rather wait for the next gen tablets .. this tablet is pretty out of date really considering whats around the corner like the asus prime… and samsung themselves have said they will have a new 11.6 inch high res tab in the new year.. and the prices are actually stupidly too high through traditional sellers..

Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 6:37 PMThe thing that shits me about this model, is that as far as the specs on the samsung site lead me to believe, there’s NO SD mem card slot!?! WTF?! WHY NOT? Even the 8″ doesn’t have one… yet the 7 does…? I’m not wasting my money something I can’t expand upon. Here’s hoping for mem card support in the ‘retina’ upgraded one. (I’d love someone to prove me wrong on this btw!!! )
