Ninty’s 3D handheld sold like soggy bread when it was first launched earlier this year. Then Nintendo slashed the price to boost sales. Now Target have cut another $50 off the price, offering the device for $199. Given the recent launch of Mario Kart 7, it might actually be worth investing in for Christmas [Target]

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 2:21 PMThey were, but that deal finished on wed. Went in and got one, apparently I got the last one in the store they’d been selling so well.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:07 PMYer.. this is a total trainwreck product.. I’m surprised they are still flogging them and haven’t given up and gone back to the drawing board.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:19 PMYer.. hehehehhehhhe.. I am a bit of a h8r when it comes to Nintendo.. particularly Nintendo Australia because they promised low prices on Wii games and we didn’t get them.. same Aussie price gouging thing happened regardless.. I know.. it’s petty.. but you need to draw the line in the sand somewhere.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:27 PMWii games have a very low price, just download them like everyone else. The 3DS launch was the worst I’ve seen for a gaming device.
Matt
Friday, December 9, 2011 at 2:23 PMI bought one when the price dropped and am loving it. I’m not one to sit down hours at a time to play, so maybe that’s why the lack of games isn’t really an issue for me.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 3:15 PMJB’s been selling just the system for $214, not a sale or special, just their normal price for system only.
